WHAT IS HEALTH@WORK
Health @ Work NI (H@W) is entering its 11th year of operation and has engaged with workplaces across the North West through its extensive consultation with management and staff on the development of appropriate health interventions adaptable to the work environment.
The programme has worked with over 100 workplaces and engaged with over 10,000 employees in the Western Trust area. Health@Work is a workplace settings based approach to contributing to a healthier community encouraging healthier lifestyles for all.
The Health@Work team, work closely with employers to ensure they are provided with optimum support and opportunity to develop a positive health action plan for their businesses. All programmes are evaluated to ensure they meet the needs identified in the health needs assessment.
